Prepare an 8(a) Offer Letter and send it to our SBA District Office contact in Washington, DC: DCOfferLetters@sba.gov
Use the SBA’s approved 8(a) Offer Letter Template (we can provide guidance upon request)
SBA reviews and issues a Letter of Approval (approx. 3 business days)
Agency sends the Request for Proposal (RFP) to MGS
MGS submits the proposal
Agency awards the sole-source contract to MGS
Important: For compliance, the offering letter from the agency to the SBA cannot be sent to MGS directly, as it contains the Independent Government Estimate (IGE) dollar amount.
